DEMONSTRATION FOR LIBERATION OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
FRIDAY 30 JUNE 2006, 12H00′ @ MARBLE ARCH
After the biggest African War (1996 – ongoing) fought in DRC, which killed 5,000,000 Congolese.
A transitional government with Kabila (the most killer of Congolese people in that war) as president was formed in 2003 with the mission to organise free and fair election in 2005. Unfortunately, the transitional government failed to meet this task.
The Congolese people demonstrated all around the world for the end of Kabila’s government; but the EU helped him with mercenaries to kill and to remain in power.
Now, there is a humanitarian catastrophe going on in DRCongo, the international media never report it.
There are 17,000 UN peacekeeping troops in the DRC, but the East of the country people are still being killed others buried alive. The solution for the EU is to send 2,000 European soldiers to fight against Congolese people determined to end Kabila’s regime on the 30/June/2006.
Please come to demonstrate with us, so that together as humanity we may challenge the EU and its allies to cease its interference in the DRC and stop Kabila to gain power from a forged election. Congolese want election but not a forged one imposed by the European Union.
INTINERARY: We meet in Marble Arch (tube station, Central Line) toward Piccadilly Circus and then Trafalgar Square and to finish at N0.10 Downing Street.
